Kate Higgins aka Catherine “Kate” Davis Higgins took birth in Charlottesville, Virginia. She is a voice actress, singer, and jazz pianist. Her best performance is as the English voice of Sakura Haruno on the hit anime series ‘Naruto’.
Kate Higgins joined Auburn University and earned a degree in music. She studied with the jazz pianist, Bob Richardson. Voice acting and jazz music are her primary concerns. She likes to play piano and has worked as a side-person for innumerous musicians. In 2002, she released her first jazz album named ‘The Tide is Low’. Her second jazz album is named ‘Stealing Freedom’. She has played with well known musicians such as Katisse Buckingham, Justin Robinson, Roy Hargrove, Steven Bernstein, Tom Harrell, Eric Alexander, Marc Johnson, Christian McBride, Lewis Nash, Bobby Previte, Vic Juris, Jesse Davis, Mike Fahn, Greg Osby, Joe Lovano, Josh Roseman and many others. Kate is also a member of a band called Upperstructure. Among her piano idols are Thelonius Monk, Wynton Kelly and Horace Silver etc.
